Suesan Yeager was our Guest of Honor at this event. Suesan and her husband John, also Hollis residents, understand exactly what the Etchells are experiencing. The Yeager’s son, Greg, was only 8 when he was diagnosed with the same form of leukemia that Nathan has. Now a junior at the University of Vermont, Greg has been in remission for 11 years. Among his many accomplishments and awards, Greg was an honors student at HBHS, was a member of the 2007 Varsity Baseball State Championship team, he was a motivational speaker for Dana Farber, Jimmy Fund and an ambassador of the Make-a-Wish Foundation. His story is truly inspirational and brings great hope to the Etchells, their friends and family.
